KDT Platinum Switches

Durability, stability and build quality have been guiding principles in the design of Platinum switches. All-galvanized or aluminum housings, internal power supplies with the right capacity, multilayer boards and high-quality materials give them a robust structure for continuous, long-term use. Every one of these products, from the very first until today, has been sold with KDT's 3-year unconditional warranty.

The Platinum family is built in two main groups, PoE and Core, and covers a wide range of speeds and management features:

• H2 series: Fast Ethernet switches at 100Mbps
• H3 series: semi-gigabit switches
• H4 series: full-gigabit switches
• H5 series: semi-10Gbps switches

In terms of management, Platinum switches come as unmanaged, Web Managed, Managed Layer 2 and Managed Layer 3 models, to meet the varied needs of network projects.

In the PoE models, standard PSE chipsets manage and control the output power, and PoE control is not handed over to an MCU. Together with sound hardware design, this architecture keeps PoE performance stable over long-term use.

One of the most important strengths of the Platinum family is its long track record in real projects.
