Repair technician training

Specialist repair, service and maintenance courses for organizations' technicians, leading to the KDT Certified Service Technician certificate.

One of the distinctive services of KDT's after-sales department is specialist training in product repair, service and maintenance for organizations, companies and other entities that make bulk purchases and operate a significant number of KDT devices.

The courses are held at KDT's premises upon an official written request from the applying organization or company, once the request has been reviewed. Course content is tailored, in a specialized and practical way, to the products and equipment the applicant uses, and covers topics such as the structure and components of the equipment, troubleshooting, diagnosing hardware faults, repair and part-replacement methods, testing and recommissioning equipment, service and maintenance principles, and post-repair technical requirements.

The main goal of these courses is to equip organizations' technicians to carry out a substantial share of equipment service and repair work at the site of operation. After successfully completing the course and reaching the required technical level, the nominated technicians can receive the KDT Certified Service Technician certificate and service and repair equipment within the company's rules and guidelines.

The parts and components needed for repairs can also be supplied by KDT once they have been identified and technically approved. This helps organizations carry out a substantial share of the necessary work on their own premises when a fault occurs, without repeatedly sending equipment to the service center.

Besides reducing equipment downtime and transport and logistics costs, this service eases organizations' concerns about equipment leaving the operating site, products being moved and repairs taking a long time. Especially in large projects and critical infrastructure, where continuous equipment operation is of high importance, having trained technicians on site can play an important role in faster response and fault management.

KDT's repair training courses are not generic training; they are built on practical experience, the technical design of the products and the specialist knowledge of the company's R&D and after-sales departments. This training program has been offered for years as part of KDT's specialist services and is one of the ways the company strengthens its customers' technical capabilities and raises the quality of equipment support in large projects.
