How do I set up motion detection on my cameras?

Several KDT camera models support motion detection, which alerts you whenever movement occurs in the scene. To enable it, go to Settings > Event Type > Video Detection > Motion Detection and adjust the parameters to suit your needs. You can also define the specific area in which movement should trigger an alert.

How do I change the IP address?

You need to change your cameras' IP addresses to prevent conflicts on the network and loss of video. To do this, go to Settings > Device > Channel, click the pencil icon next to the camera you added, enter the new IP address in the window that opens and click Save. If the IP address does not change, open the camera's web interface and change it there; you will then need to add the camera to the recorder again.

What is ANR, and what problem does it solve?

ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) is a failover recording feature: whenever the network connection between the camera and the NVR drops, the camera records video to its onboard memory card. As soon as the connection is restored, it automatically transfers that footage to the NVR and slots it into the timeline, so a network outage leaves no gaps in the archive. The feature works natively between KDT cameras and NVRs.
